I enjoy cooking. I also get a sense of satisfaction from feeding my family meals that I have made from scratch.
BUT like many women I speak to, I don’t always have as much time as I would like, so the meals I make have to be quick and easy as well as nutritious.
I can also get stuck in a rut of cooking the same meals, week in and week out, so I often use recipe books for inspiration.
I love flicking through a good recipe book, especially if it is one that uses healthy ingredients.
I use them often but I don’t always follow the recipes to the letter. I often improvise based on what foods I have in the fridge/freezer/ cupboard. This can have mixed results… but mainly it works.
