The making of a smoothie
The formula that works best for me is:
ice/frozen fruit or frozen veg at the bottom
followed by some fresh fruit or vegetables (I like to use 1-2 fruit and 3 veg)
next nut butter, tahini or protein powder
then some flax or chia seeds
and finally any extras you may like such as green powders, maca of spirulina,
before adding a liquid of choice e.g. water, nut milk or coconut water and blend.
Alternatively, you could just chuck it all in and hope for the best!
